Born in the Flood, "In Debt to the Heart"
One of my favorite accidental SXSW finds, Born in the Flood occasionally brings to mind (in their more melodramatic moments) bands like Coldplay and U2, but I'm not saying that's who they sound like. Check them out.

The Black Angels, "Young Men Dead"
One of my other favorite accidental SXSW stumble-upons, the Black Angels are simply mesmerizing live - whether because of their light and video show, or their swirling, dark music, I couldn't really say. For fans of the Doors, Velvet Underground.

The Good, the Bad & the Queen, "History Song"
This new British super-group featuring Damon Albarn (Blur/Gorillaz), Paul Simonon (The Clash), and Simon Tong (The Verve) sound fresher than I'd expected, and apparently put on a really good show at SXSW.
